PostedAugust 4, 2014 · cura slicing issue with hole. The X-Ray view is showing red areas. This means there's something wrong with the model. You can try different combinations of the "Fix horrible" check boxes in the Expert settings and see if a combination there makes cura slice it the way you expect. Or you could try repairing it

STLdownloaded in Cura 3.0.4 (using Fusion 360 to draw it) and in the solid view I can see all the holes. But going to layer view the holes are gone. In the solid view there are on both surfaces 4x holes.. In the layer view only the vertical surface has holes 4x.. The horizontal surface does not contain any holes anymore.

You might want to try the "print thin walls" option which will allow you to print down to about .4mm walls with a .4mm line width. A .4mm

CurzedCruzadecommentedMar 4, 2019. When slicing in Cura, it only slices the last couple of layers and not the whole object. I've reinstalled the program, adjusted settings, tried to repair the object but nothing is working. I was able to print everything just fine but it is doing this with every .stl file.
Itwill not slice if I just move it from the center. But if I tilt it 90 degrees, it will slice. But that won't work for me. Describe your model. It is watertight according to the Meshtools plugin. I did have to fix it in 3d Builder, but that has never been a problem before. I just downloaded Cura 5.2.0 and it sliced it without a problem.

Iam aware of the setting, which I had enabled for both extruders on the previous version of Cura and hardly touched. I suppose when I upgraded to 4.0 I had expected it to behave exactly as 3.X did with my settings, so I did not think to check this at all, especially since the layer slicing would show correctly when using the animation tool.
